The roles are reversed in my
household. I am the breadwinner in the
family. I make more money than my husband. My husband only makes enough to
pay the rent, while I pay all of the other bills. I pay for the groceries as well. He cleans the house more than I do because I
work more and longer hours than he does.
He takes our daughter to the bus stop as well, while I am getting ready
for work. My husband is a metal artist that deals with many interior designers thus bringing out his more feminine side. I am more like a man. I am aggressive, blunt and to the point, and hide my emotions like a man.
As a society, the gender roles have changed. Men were the breadwinners or the ones working while the women were the homemakers. Now in our society, more and more women are working and making just as much or more than their spouses. More and more men are becoming stay at home dads while the moms go out and earn a living.
It
is thought that cultures and a short period of time have signaled that
evolution and biology do not fix gender roles:
time also bends the genders.
